GOOD Based on 48 reviews Leo Long2025-07-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nick was standoff-ish initially but really warmed up when we found we both have an interest in sprint cars. Worked with my insurance company and was refreshingly blunt / no bullshit on what I could expect the insurance company to pay for & NOT pay for. Jim Johnson2025-05-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Guy had a bad attitude, told me I’m probably not explaining it right. As a customer , you were rude. Chris Weir2025-03-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Clean shop, friendly service, fair prices. McColloch's is a gem. Wendy Cromwell2024-05-15Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I love coming here. I have an older rv and they have helped me upgrade my rig. I have a new automatic awning upgrade, smart batteries, and a brand new stainless steel fridge. I think I'm done now for awhile. But I need a new door and will have them do it when I'm ready Michele M.2024-03-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A huge thank you to McColloch’s RV Repair! We were Rear ended on the 5 fwy and our trailer took some damage, we were able to get it in very quickly and understandably parts took a bit to get in but we are VERY pleased and happy with the repair done! The trailer looks brand new! Great service so glad they were able to help us out! Thanks again! Pam Endres2024-02-01Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service! Helpful, kind, works with you in your crisis Highly recommend ???? Barb Conner2023-10-19Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Superb job renovating my Class C rv. Workmanship was awesome. Thanks to Nick for his patience with me. Very professional shop. Ryan Caplan2023-08-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They may be fairly knowledgeable about RV repairs, but they lack any customer service, friendliness or ability to relate to their customers. You won’t be treated like a friend or family, yet a number and commodity. Don’t waste your time, money and frustration. Go somewhere else. The review scores are valid and so low for a reason
GOOD Based on 60 reviews Cliff S.2024-05-08Verified My motorhome's levelers would no longer auto-retract. After spending 3 days on the phone with Lippert customer support, I realized I'd done as much as I could do and it was time for someone with the right tools and experience. I chose McColloch's based on past experience with another motorhome and a broken leveling foot. McColloch's also went through several rounds of troubleshooting with Lippert and the end result was the hydraulic pump needed to be replaced. Throughout it all, the communications from Nick was fantastic. For instance, there were other parts replaced as part of the trouble-shooting process. Prior to replacing anything, Nick called or texted me to make sure I understood the parts and labor charges. He also did everything he could do to make the repair happen before the drop-dead date I provided him. I highly recommend this shop! P.S. Bruce O.2024-04-30Verified McColloch's RV Repair, Sacramento, CA, March 13, 2024 I found McColloch's RV Repair on Yelp a few months ago after I damaged the rear corner fiberglass on my motor home. I took pictures of the damage and forwarded them on to Nick at McColloch's RV Repair. He said he had seen that type of damage before and wouldn't have a problem repairing it. I also had some previous damage on the front fiberglass bumper that Nick said they could also repair and have painted. I went a head and submitted both damage claims to my insurance company and took the motor home in for repairs about the second week of January. Fortunately, I didn't need the motor home back until the middle of March, so I was fine with them keeping it for a while to make the repairs and have the damaged spots repainted. They were able to make the repairs quickly, however the paint did take a while to get completed. There is normally about a three week wait time to get painting done through the company they work with, but some kind of issue delayed the process for a few weeks. About 8 weeks after I first dropped off the motor home, the job was complete and I am very happy with the end result. The repairs look great and the paint color match is very good. Nick took care of all the insurance work and had the paperwork ready to go when I arrived for the pickup. I got the motor home back in time for an extended trip we were taking a few days later, so all was good. Nick was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. They do a lot of other types of RV repair work as well. I highly recommend them. Jen K.2023-07-10Verified Replaced my awning fabric and both batteries quickly. I had a trio planned and they made sure I was ready to go. They did a great job D G.2023-05-11Verified Nick and crew repaired the entire passenger-side window on my Class-A, after it had fogged up between the glass panes. This is a very labor-intensive project and it was completed perfectly to my complete satisfaction. The yard is very secure with high fences and cameras, so I felt my rig was secure during the repair process. Louie K.2022-01-31Verified Again, went to Nick at McCulloch RV when my rig was not performing well. This time it was complicated, as the whole unit wiring was failing. Solar panels not charging, batteries prematurely dead- endless frustration every time we went out for a weekend. After they went over our RV, everything works perfectly. They spent 5 hours correcting all the screwups from the previous owner and we could not be happier. These guys know everything, and everything works. Go here. Full stop. Cory B.2021-10-16Verified I reached out to McColloch's through Yelp messaging after damaging an awning. I was looking for a mobile tech which they don't offer but they offered advice and offered to do what they could to advise me and trouble shoot my issue even though it was unlikely I'd be able to use them. Every RV repair, dealer, manufacturer is just buried with business right now and they didn't need to offer to help but they did. Just knowing I could ask them questions to resolve my problem lowered my stress level 98%. I travel here often and will definitely use McColloch's should I need anything in this area again. This industry is notable for slow or no response. Not these guys. I'm a sales manager and my customer service people could learn something from these guys. Manuel C.2021-09-17Verified My travel trailer was hit by someone and the molding (plus some fiberglass) was wrenched out and damaged on a front corner. Fortunately that someone was a pretty upstanding guy and covered all the costs for repairs. Enter McColloch's RV Repair - literally the only shop I could find after a hard search that would even talk to me about this job. There are relatively few RV shops that do BODY work (almost any other kind of work is easy to get done, but it is HARD to find anybody that will do body work on a trailer). I explained what I needed done and arranged to drop off the trailer. Upon arrival Nick gave it a quick look and let me know approximately how long it would take to get an estimate written up. It duly arrived and I approved the work to go forward. The repair took a bit longer than I would ideally have liked, but that was not the shop's fault. My trailer is an older model and parts/materials are harder to come by. And the wait was worth it - the trailer literally looks good as new. I'd have to point out where the damage was, as you'd never spot it yourself. I'm extremely pleased with the work and would heartily recommend McColloch's RV Repair. Kimala B.2021-08-11Verified Poor security/Sloppy mechanics The last two-three times we have had our motorhome serviced at McColloch's RV repair shop it has come back with oil stains on the carpet. It has been extremely difficult to remove the stains each time. Also, the last time we had our motorhome at McColloch's, our Catalytic Converter was stolen off our Motorhome while it was on their property waiting to be serviced. McColloch's would accept NO RESPONSIBILITY for the cost of the replacement Catalytic Converter. It was on us to pay for, which was quite expensive. I feel this is extremely poor service. We own a business and carry additional liability insurance to cover any mishaps that should happen on our property. Needless to say, we will NOT be using their service again. Patricia M.2021-07-12Verified The biggest problem with McColloch's is Nick. He is extremely rude and once they got our trailer almost everything he told me was a lie. I was told my trailer would be done in two to three weeks, after five weeks I called three times to check and he started screaming at me every time. He told me many things that just wasn't true. Absolutely horrible service. Dianna M.2021-06-24Verified I would highly recommend McColloch's RV Repair! They handled my repairs quickly and professionally! I had an insurance repair and a warranty repair. What a nightmare it could have been to deal with both companies for parts and payments. Nick worked with all the involved parties. He kept me informed with no surprises. I am sure I am not his only customer, but I was treated like I was. Great personal service. My replacement awning came in damaged from shipping, he handled everything to have it replaced. Let me say the parts took way too long to arrive but that was not his fault, the RV companies have a monopoly and many items are on backorder. He kept calling and checking on parts and kept me informed the entire time. He worked with me so I could use my rig while a new awning was in route. All around a great experience!
