Blew out the front jack on my travel trailer when the up-down shaft “slipped” and bent to a 45degree angle! Called McColloch and was able to bring in the trailer the next day, got a reasonable estimate and got the trailer back a week later. Happy with the experiencePosted on Google![]()

Great shop, first time bringing my rpod in - now a customer for life honestly 1 visit now would not go anywhere else. They were excellent in how well they communicated everything, every part, every thing we may want to consider given what they found, but not overselling us at all on stuff we didn’t need. Prices and costs were fair and not crazy. They were super cool no issues leaving the trailer a little longer while I traveled. Appreciate these guys.Posted on Google![]()

The owner really worked with me on a cash pay job to get it down to something that was workable for me. He took the time to explain the work completed as well as the billing details so I understood what I was paying for. The employees were all incredibly nice as I was walking through the garage repair area. I plan on returning with more work for the shop. I’m from a small town and felt at home with these gents.Posted on Google![]()

Since we bought our trailer from a dealer in Tracy a few years ago (who has a badly reviewed maintenance department), I was looking for a repair shop in Sacramento to keep our investment in good shape. I chose to try McColloch's for their good reviews and I'm very pleased to say I was not disappointed. I showed Nick the maintenance checklist provided by the manufacturer and he gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate. What I really liked was how he walked me through the things they found when I picked it up -- clearly demonstrating that they did a full inspection. Just returned from my first camping trip post-maintenance and can report that everything was working as promised.Posted on Google![]()

This shop treats you like family!!!! NO JOKE!! I have a 5 year old Dutchman Colorado 30 ft trailer. It had some major water leaks. I took it where I bought it ( name left out on purpose) and they charged me almost 2 grand for them to say they fixed it…. THEY DID NOT!!! So I decided to take it to mcCollochs and they had it a day found the problems gave me pictures of the damage had it fixed in under a week!!! And charged me half as much to actually find and fix the problems. And with that they have earned a customer for life+0Posted on Google![]()

Caught a large rock with travel trailer tire resulting in bent axle and lower body damage. Didn’t know where to get repair in Sacramento area and fortunately an internet search led me to have the trailer towed to McColloch’s RV Repair. They have been specializing in RV repair and service for 30 yrs and provided an estimate at a fair price and the work was very professional and looks like the trailer was never damaged. I came to McCullochs RV after my my motor home was broken into and trashed. They worked with my insurance seamlessly. They kept in contact with them (abd myself) through the whole process.and my vehicle was fixed up really nicely. I was extremely happy with their work, professionalism and speed of repair. UPDATE: I have continued to use McCullochs RV to store my motor home when I’m not using it at a very reasonable price. I go to Burning Man and have taken cross country trips which have resulted in my vehicle needing various repairs. It has been great to just be able to go the guys at McCullochs and tell them what I need fixed and being able to trust them to fix it in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. My travel trailer was hit by someone and the molding (plus some fiberglass) was wrenched out and damaged on a front corner. Fortunately that someone was a pretty upstanding guy and covered all the costs for repairs. Enter McColloch's RV Repair - literally the only shop I could find after a hard search that would even talk to me about this job. There are relatively few RV shops that do BODY work (almost any other kind of work is easy to get done, but it is HARD to find anybody that will do body work on a trailer). I explained what I needed done and arranged to drop off the trailer. Upon arrival Nick gave it a quick look and let me know approximately how long it would take to get an estimate written up. It duly arrived and I approved the work to go forward. The repair took a bit longer than I would ideally have liked, but that was not the shop's fault. My trailer is an older model and parts/materials are harder to come by. And the wait was worth it - the trailer literally looks good as new. I'd have to point out where the damage was, as you'd never spot it yourself. I'm extremely pleased with the work and would heartily recommend McColloch's RV Repair.Posted on Google![]()

Mcculloch RV has always been good to us. I've been around a few cons and shady operators. This place is not one of those. All the work we have paid for has been done at the highest level, usually earlier than expected. Nick, the owner, has gone so far as to help me out on the phone when I was having problems while vacationing out of state. That is called customer service at a high level. My motorhome's levelers would no longer auto-retract. After spending 3 days on the phone with Lippert customer support, I realized I'd done as much as I could do and it was time for someone with the right tools and experience. I chose McColloch's based on past experience with another motorhome and a broken leveling foot. McColloch's also went through several rounds of troubleshooting with Lippert and the end result was the hydraulic pump needed to be replaced. Throughout it all, the communications from Nick was fantastic. For instance, there were other parts replaced as part of the trouble-shooting process. Prior to replacing anything, Nick called or texted me to make sure I understood the parts and labor charges. He also did everything he could do to make the repair happen before the drop-dead date I provided him. I highly recommend this shop! P.S.Posted on Yelp![]()

McColloch's RV Repair, Sacramento, CA, March 13, 2024 I found McColloch's RV Repair on Yelp a few months ago after I damaged the rear corner fiberglass on my motor home. I took pictures of the damage and forwarded them on to Nick at McColloch's RV Repair. He said he had seen that type of damage before and wouldn't have a problem repairing it. I also had some previous damage on the front fiberglass bumper that Nick said they could also repair and have painted. I went a head and submitted both damage claims to my insurance company and took the motor home in for repairs about the second week of January. Fortunately, I didn't need the motor home back until the middle of March, so I was fine with them keeping it for a while to make the repairs and have the damaged spots repainted. They were able to make the repairs quickly, however the paint did take a while to get completed. There is normally about a three week wait time to get painting done through the company they work with, but some kind of issue delayed the process for a few weeks. About 8 weeks after I first dropped off the motor home, the job was complete and I am very happy with the end result. The repairs look great and the paint color match is very good. Nick took care of all the insurance work and had the paperwork ready to go when I arrived for the pickup. I got the motor home back in time for an extended trip we were taking a few days later, so all was good. Nick was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. They do a lot of other types of RV repair work as well. I highly recommend them.+1Posted on Yelp![]()

Again, went to Nick at McCulloch RV when my rig was not performing well. This time it was complicated, as the whole unit wiring was failing. Solar panels not charging, batteries prematurely dead- endless frustration every time we went out for a weekend. After they went over our RV, everything works perfectly. They spent 5 hours correcting all the screwups from the previous owner and we could not be happier. These guys know everything, and everything works. Go here. Full stop.Posted on Yelp![]()

I reached out to McColloch's through Yelp messaging after damaging an awning. I was looking for a mobile tech which they don't offer but they offered advice and offered to do what they could to advise me and trouble shoot my issue even though it was unlikely I'd be able to use them. Every RV repair, dealer, manufacturer is just buried with business right now and they didn't need to offer to help but they did. Just knowing I could ask them questions to resolve my problem lowered my stress level 98%. I travel here often and will definitely use McColloch's should I need anything in this area again. This industry is notable for slow or no response. Not these guys. I'm a sales manager and my customer service people could learn something from these guys.+1Posted on Yelp![]()

What a nightmare it could have been to deal with both companies for parts and payments. Nick worked with all the involved parties. He kept me informed with no surprises. I am sure I am not his only customer, but I was treated like I was. Great personal service. My replacement awning came in damaged from shipping, he handled everything to have it replaced. Let me say the parts took way too long to arrive but that was not his fault, the RV companies have a monopoly and many items are on backorder. He kept calling and checking on parts and kept me informed the entire time. He worked with me so I could use my rig while a new awning was in route. All around a great experience!Posted on Yelp![]()

I first met Kerry in 1993. I had just purchased my new 21 foot toyota spirit and I thought I needed new shocks. I left my small rig there and went shopping. About 30 minutes later Kerry called to say my shocks were fine they just needed "air". I returned to pick up my RV and no charge. Being a 40 year old single woman I realized I was a prime target to be taken advantage of and charged for new shocks and labor. I decided that if he was that honest I would always go to him if possible for repairs. Which I did. Now I live in Washington State in the Columbia River Gorge area. But every spring when I come to visit friends in Sacramento I stop there with questions and problems to be solved with my new Sprinter RV. Always friendly and professional, the place has grown and his sons are there too and the same family honesty shines through. Thank you guys for all your years of service.Posted on Yelp![]()

I own a 2006 Sportsmobile and needed a new house battery. I called on a Tuesday and they said they could have me in on Thursday. Not only were they able to get me in so quickly (other local shops were telling me early September), they took care of several rusted bolts and cleaned up the battery storage area (much rust from a few years in Vermont). This is a great find for me being new to the RV world. The crew is friendly and were very accommodating to my needs, I would strongly recommend these folks.Posted on Yelp![]()

Outstanding service from this repair shop. First time I've taken our RV anywhere for repairs, and this is the only place I will go in the future. Work was done ahead of schedule and pricing was very fair. Good, solid, reputable folks, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks. Not only made necessary repairs, but also changed setup so everything will work properly.Posted on Yelp![]()

These guys are outstanding! We had our propane stop working while at the Grand Canyon and I only had a day in town for them to check it out. They had it repaired the same day and under-budget! I am definitely taking back the Winnebago Era and our Safari Trek for more work at this shop. Great service!Posted on Yelp![]()

They get the work done promptly and with integrity. They treated me with respect. That is a priority in this family-run business, and it is refreshing in the seedy world of RV repairs. Previously I had my generator repaired at Conning World (AKA Camping World), where the repair failed after one day; then they said at Conning World that I needed a new generator, but that there was no way to fit a new generator in my RV without rebuilding the old compartment which would cost several thousand dollars (on top of the price of the new generator). They said my only other option was to try having the manufacturer repair the old generator because there was no way anybody else could do it. That's how I came to McColloch's, far from home. The father-son team at McColloch's showed me how a new generator could easily be installed in the old compartment by going under the chassis, and it would cost just a couple hundred bucks, without having to build a new compartment. Then they went above and beyond and questioned why I wanted a new generator, when the one I had could be repaired and it still had a lot of life in it. They repaired it, and it's still running a year later. They saved me thousands of dollars to rebuild the generator compartment and thousands of dollars to buy a new generator. That is service with integrity, a true gem in a culture which places self-interest above the customer's interest. These guys are THE BEST!Posted on Yelp![]()

My camper needed some repair due to human error! I stopped in and was immediately helped. Nick went above and beyond what I had expected. He has a great attitude. I left feeling good. This was my second visit for different problems than the first.Posted on Yelp![]()

We were recommended to McColloch's by some friends and they did not disappoint. Because of an unfortunate accident, the entire read cap on our almost-new 5th Wheel had to be replaced, which required ordering one from the factory in Indiana, then removing the existing one, along with everything inside and outside connected to it, which was quite a big job. Kerry and his guys completed the job for less than his original estimate and now it looks great. They even took care of some electrical connection replacement in our truck when we went to pick the rig up yesterday. We will definitely use them again if the need arises and will recommend them to any others who have problems. They're great! Jim and Chris Weidinger, Jackson, CA 209-296-8906Posted on Yelp![]()

We bought a 5th wheel from another dealer that was supposed to have fixed the brakes and on our first trip out we noticed that the holding tanks were leaking. We took the trailer to Kerry and Nick and they did all of the insurance paperwork replaced the tanks and got us going again. We took it back for a different repair and while there my husband ask them to inspect the brakes and adjust if necessary. Well we needed a whole lot more than that, we contacted and went and spoke with the owner of B&L RV where we bought the trailer and he would not pay for repairs on the brakes. Kerry and Nick are the very fair and reasonable on their prices, they are always helpful and get done with repairs on time. I recommend them for all of your RV needs.Posted on Yelp![]()

We had recently bought a used RV and had a laundry list of items that needed to be done to it before we took off on our trip. Electrical, LP gas leak, hole in the rear fiberglass, and maintenance on our leveling jacks. Kerry gave us an estimate at a reasonable price and said he would have it done in a week. Although he found a few more things while working on the rig, none of them added up to much as far as price. McColloch's came in on time and under budget...you cannot ask for anything more than that. If you need some work done on an old RV...or new one...give these guys a call...you wont regret it.Posted on Yelp![]()

We want to express how amazing the service was for us on 3/17/14. We had an electrical problem that we could not figure out. We are from Washington and were traveling to California....had this issue. I Yelped RV repair, called them, they were great on the phone and said come on in right now! Just so great to be able to go right on in when you are on the road. They diagnosed the issue, repaired it , and off we went. I want to add that when we arrived at their shop, they were very busy, and fit us right in. We are grateful for their expertise and kindness that they gave us.... These guys are the very best!!!Posted on Yelp![]()

I can't say enough good about these guys. I had a list of about 10 "little things" that I wanted to get fixed on my 2001 Dolphin 36' Motorhome. Nothing critical, just nuisance items that have built up over the past two years of owning the rig. They were great to deal with, their price was certainly reasonable, and they had it complete when they said they would. An added bonus: while they were waiting for a part to come in, they coordinated with Overstreet Auto Repair to get the oil changed for me - saving me time off work and the hassle of a separate trip. These guys are the best!Posted on Yelp![]()

Brought my 5th wheel in to get covers installed on the slideouts. they promptly ordered the covers and said it might take 1 to 2 weeks for them to arrive. Well, 3 days later the materials came in and promptly installed. The installation was well done (no "boogered up" Phillips screw heads). Their work is of the highest quality. I would go back for service anytime.Posted on Yelp![]()

I had McColloch's do a blow out repair for about $4,000 less than another shop wanted which I know was unwarranted to what I asked for. McCulloch's earned my loyalty as a customer due to their honesty. I bought a new 5th wheel and wanted to put slide covers and 2" receiver on back. I got three estimates and McCollouch was $800 less than others, and they did an excellent job in a timely manner. Honest, fair, competent and competitive.Posted on Yelp![]()

McColloch is the best!! I just got off the phone seeking advice and the owner spent 10 - 15 minutes helping me out over the phone and never suggested bringing the RV in or hinting about money! And the advice was spot on as well. A good camping friend had done serious damage to his almost new 5th wheel last year and found McColloch's repair where he got an estimate. As promised, McColloch repaired the damage in the time and price quoted and did such a good job you can't find where the original damage was done!Posted on Yelp![]()

This family business is top notch. They have helped me on the road when I needed help and do excellent work in the shop. No service reps to confuse the issue, you talk to the guys who do the work. Have done a great job for me everytime I've needed them. They worked with my extended warranty company and got coverage for a bunch of my repairs. I've tried a number of local repair outfits over the past 10 years, and McColloch's are by far the best.Posted on Yelp![]()

Stopped in one late afternoon and was thinking i'd be lucky if someone even answered the door. But what a surprise I got when Kerry and his staff were happy to help and went the extra mile to check on finding me a part that was not generally available all the while looking out for my bottom line. They were able to get the job done while I waited and had me on my way in no time. Great job guys and thanks for the great service!Posted on Yelp![]()

McColloch's RV Repair is the best! They have saved my RV from doom on many occasions (this includes my having ripped open a side of my RV and being told by another shop that it was beyond repair). I would recommend them for any repair, large or small. Their prices are reasonable and they are fair and honest.
